“The social worker acts as a link between the resident and their environment”

The Social Work area of the Residence is responsible for working with the family environment, social relations, the emotional situation of the person, etc., which are key to favouring the integration of the resident in our centre.

It is also responsible for coordinating with other entities that are of interest to the resident: town councils, social welfare, health, courts, social-health centres, hospitals, private entities, etc. It also advises and executes the processing of all those documents for the normalisation of the resident’s situation as well as the fulfilment of all their rights.
