Palliative care
“No suffering / Quality of dying”
Our starting point in the palliative care program is to ensure that the patient does not suffer, we speak here of “quality of dying”.
What is Palliative Care? What exactly does this entail?
Palliative care is aimed at overcoming pain and fear for people in the last phase of their lives.
When are we dealing with a palliative patient?
Palliative patients are patients with an incurable disease who no longer respond to any form of treatment. You can think of cancer, heart and / or lung problems, dementia, aging, etc. At Residence Ciudad Patricia, our main concern is that our terminal patients have a dignified death, without any form of suffering. We take care of not only the needs of the palliative patient, but also your family member, caregiver and / or friend at all times.
“It is a process that we must enter into and go through together”
